The Logotech Capital Appraisal and Monitoring Information System (CAMIS) has been designed and developed in conjunction with Local Authority Officers.  The primary benefits are that project slippages and overspends are identified at an early stage, scarce capital resources are used to an optimum and the Capital Programme process is efficiently managed.

The system enables capital projects to be progressed through planning to committed stages, maintaining the components of each project together with their estimates profiled over the duration of the project.  These estimates are capable of updating for changes, and comparison with actual payments made and commitments incurred.  This enables the projection of capital requirements for each period into the future.

The system also provides for project appraisals, programming and reprogramming facilities as well as non financial monitoring of physical progress through milestone events.

On-going product development is in line with changes in legislation and practice.  Logotech regard a successful implementation as a partnership and work towards that end by providing training, support and consultancy when required.
