Logotech Systems - Logotech's approach has been designed to address CIPFA's proposals on capital accounting.  Furthermore it provides Local Authorities with an effective information system to manage longer term financial assets.

The system addresses two distinct areas:
     The Asset Register
     Capital Charges
where the Assets Register provides a "core" database for the Asset Management process.

The Assets Register is available as a standalone system while capital charges is an optional module.  The system provides a solution totally dedicated to Local Government from a reliable software house with a vast wealth of experience in addressing the Public Sector.

Terrarius - Assets
The system is specifically based on CIPFA's requirements and provides key asset information including description, location, historic and current costs, asset type, ownership and ancillary data.  The system is fully 2007 SORP compliant and allows for a Notional Depreciated Historic Cost position in parallel with the carrying value and provides full impairment facilities.  Assets are organised by the recommended categories, but can also be recorded by type to facilitate balance sheet summarisation.

Capital Charges
Calculates user definable asset rental charges.  Establishes depreciation together with cost of capital and reports variations if using asset rentals.  Provides multi -year budgeting facilities and enables modelling of changes in asset rental profiles, life or interest details.

In addition to a wide range of standard reports, our system provides a powerful but easy to use Report Writer.  This is highly flexible and can report on any information in the database.  This provides a crucial link in tailoring the system exactly to your needs and ensures that changing requirements for information can be easily addressed.

All Logotech systems are fully supported and maintained by expert staff.  We install the software on your hardware and provide training for all your staff.

We are also able to cater for individual Authority's requirements, including mainframe communications and special training needs or consultancy.

There is an active User Group for each system at which ideas are exchanged and technical experience is pooled.
